Silverstone is powering the #Freedom2Learn movement which aims to put 1million smart devices into the hands of learners across Africa.

Objectives

  1. Drive interest and awareness around:
    • Devices: The AG Mobile Freedom range of devices
    • Donations: The donation drive to donate 1 million AG Freedom devices to underprivileged youth in South Africa & Africa + donation to the Nelson Mandela Long Walk to Freedom Library Project
  2. Drive traffic to the #Freedom2Learn mobile and digital touch points
  3. Use 67 #Freedom2Learn challenges to drive engagement and excitement around the campaign
  4. To drive corporate and individual donations on CauseWRX and Generosity from across the globe
  5. Drive sales of AG Freedom devices through pre-orders and retailer channels

Execution

Silverstone needed to build a platform that could handle all the objectives of the #Freedom2Learn campaign – driving awareness around products, excitement around 67 gamified challenges and then drive corporate and individuals donations on their platform to help donate 1 000 000 phones to children in Africa.

  • Overarching site www.freedom2learn.org site built with clear creative and call-to-action promoting various aspects of the campaign
  • Product imagery and specs included with ability to pre-order devices
  • 67 #Freedom2Learn challenges built and released daily for a 5 week period
  • Prize giveaways and built-in leader board to incentivise engagement
  • Donations hosted on Silverstone Cause and Donor platform CauseWRX
  • Donations can be made through a Corporate Lead form or through integration to International crowdfunding platform Generosity
